Garage Rescue KC LLC ("we," "us") operates Garage Rescue KC and this website. This policy explains what happens to the information you give us. It is written in plain language on purpose — if something here is unclear, call us at (816) 342-5963 and ask.

What we collect

Only what you type into the estimate form. That form asks for your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, and text message preference. It also lets you optionally tell us your garage size, how cluttered it is, anything else we should know, and upload up to three photos of your garage.

We do not ask for and have no use for your Social Security number, date of birth, driver's licence, or bank details. We never take payment information through this website.

Our analytics also collect standard usage information — pages viewed, approximate location by city, device and browser type, and how you reached the site. See Cookies and analytics below.

When you submit the form, we also record how you found us: the site that linked you here, any campaign tags or advertising click identifiers in the link you arrived on, the pages you viewed, and your device type. We use this to learn which advertising actually brings in customers. It is stored in your browser by our own site, not by a third party, and it is sent to us only with the form.

Why we collect it

• To quote your job. The ZIP tells us whether you are in our service area and how far the drive is. The photos are how we price the work without scheduling a site visit.
• To reach you back. Phone and email are how we send your written quote and arrange a date.
• To keep the form usable. We use an anti-spam check so the form is not buried in bot submissions.
• To understand what is working. Aggregate analytics tell us which pages bring in real enquiries.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade, or share it with other contractors, lead brokers, or marketing lists. There is no circumstance in which your estimate request is passed to another company.

When you opt in to receive SMS messages from Garage Rescue KC, this section explains how we collect and use your information for that messaging program.

SMS data we collect

When you opt in to receive SMS messages, we collect your name, phone number, and consent to send SMS messages.

How we use SMS data

We use this information to operate our business and send you the SMS messages you have opted in to receive.

SMS data sharing

Customer data is not shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing mentioned elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.

Messaging program terms and conditions

1. The messaging program consists of general customer care messaging to answer questions and provide support to customers. Messages are sent from (816) 342-5963.
2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to the phone number from which you received messages. We will send an SMS confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive SMS messages. To join again, sign up as you did the first time and we will resume sending messages.
3. If you have issues with the messaging program, reply with HELP for more assistance or contact us directly at garagerescuekc@gmail.com.
4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Message and data rates may apply to messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies based on communication needs. For questions about your text or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

Where it goes and how long we keep it

When you submit the form, it is sent to our own servers on Amazon Web Services and turned into a single email to our team. It is also recorded in Pipedrive, the customer relationship system we use to quote and schedule jobs, together with the information about how you found us described above. Both records stay until we delete them, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

Photos you upload are stored in a private cloud folder that is not publicly listable or browsable. The links included in our notification email are time-limited and stop working after six days. We keep the underlying photos only as long as we need them to quote and complete your job, and you can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

For a short period we also keep server logs containing your submission, so that a technical failure in our email delivery can never quietly lose a real customer's request.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site. These set cookies in your browser and share usage data with Google. We use this to see which pages lead to estimate requests — not to build a profile of you personally.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's official opt-out browser add-on. Blocking them does not affect the estimate form, which works with cookies and JavaScript switched off entirely.

Other services this site relies on

A few third parties necessarily see your request in the course of delivering it. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Amazon Web Services — hosting, file storage, and the email that delivers your enquiry to us.
• Cloudflare — the anti-spam check on the estimate form. It sees your IP address and browser characteristics to tell a person from a bot.
• Google — Tag Manager and Analytics as described above, and the web fonts this site uses, which are served from Google's network.
• Pipedrive — the customer relationship system where your estimate request is recorded so we can quote and schedule your job.

How we protect it

The whole site is served over HTTPS. Uploaded photos are held in private storage rather than anywhere publicly reachable, and the links we generate expire. Access to the mailbox that receives enquiries is limited to the owners of the business.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can tell you honestly is that we hold very little: a name, a way to contact you, a ZIP code, and some photos of a garage.

Your choices

Email us at garagerescuekc@gmail.com or call (816) 342-5963 and we will, on request:

• Tell you what we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your enquiry and any photos you sent.
• Stop contacting you.

You do not need to give a reason, and asking will never affect the price or the service you get.

Children

This site is intended for homeowners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
