The rules of the road for estimates, quotes, and the work itself.
These terms apply to this website and to work performed by Garage Rescue KC LLC ("we," "us"). By requesting an estimate you agree to them. If you have questions, call (816) 342-5963 before booking.
Estimates and quotes
Submitting the form on this site is a request for an estimate. It is not a booking, and it does not obligate either of us to anything.
We scope your job from the photos and details you provide. Before any work begins you receive a written quote. That quote is the agreement: the price you approve is the price you pay, and it will not change unless you add work or the garage turns out to contain something materially different from what you described and showed us. If that happens, we tell you and re-quote before continuing — we do not add charges after the fact.
Prices on this website
Prices shown here are starting prices, not final ones. The Clear-Out starts at $699+. The Rescue starts at $1,299+. The Reset starts at $1,999+. The Transformation starts at $4,999+. The package descriptions on the pricing page explain which storage products, materials, and specialty trades are quoted separately. Nothing on this site is a binding offer; only your written quote is.
Scheduling, deposits, and payment
Work is scheduled for a date you choose and confirm. For larger jobs we collect a deposit to hold the date, with the balance due once the work is complete and you have walked the finished garage with our crew lead. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, tell us as early as you can and we will work with you. If we have to reschedule — weather, illness, a job running long — we will tell you as soon as we know rather than leaving you waiting on a truck.
Timelines
We give you a realistic timeline in writing with your quote, based on your actual garage. We deliberately do not advertise a guaranteed same-day finish, because it is not true for every garage. If a job runs longer than we estimated, that is our problem, not an extra line on your bill.
What we need from you
- Access. Safe, clear access to the garage and to power on the day of work.
- Decisions. Someone available during the sorting phase to make keep-or-go calls. We will not decide for you what is worth keeping.
- Accuracy. Photos and descriptions that reasonably reflect what is actually in the garage. Our quote is only as good as what we were shown.
Items we remove
Nothing leaves without your approval. We stage items in a marked discard zone and walk it with you before anything goes on the truck. Pulling something back at that last check is completely normal and completely fine.
Once you approve an item for removal, that decision is final — donated, recycled, and discarded items cannot be retrieved. Please check for cash, documents, keys, and keepsakes before you approve.
By law we cannot haul certain materials, including paint, motor oil, gasoline, pesticides, propane tanks, asbestos, and medical waste. We will set these aside as we sort and tell you exactly where to take them locally.
Photos
Photos you send are used to quote and complete your job. We will not publish photos of your garage, or identify you as a customer, in any marketing without your explicit permission.
Our work
We perform our work with reasonable care and skill. If something is not right, tell us and we will make it right — we would much rather fix a problem than argue about one.
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions we did not cause, such as prior damage to the slab, walls, ceiling, or the structure itself, or for the condition of items that were already damaged. Where we install storage systems, safe working load depends on the structure we are fixing to; we will tell you honestly if a wall or ceiling cannot safely hold what you are asking for, and we will not install something we do not believe is safe.
Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, our total liability arising out of any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

We keep the content here accurate, but it is provided for information and does not form a contract. Text, images, and branding on this site belong to us and may not be copied for commercial use. We are not responsible for the content of sites we link to.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. We serve the Missouri side of the Kansas City metro, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of that state.
Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. The terms that apply to your job are the ones in force when you approved your written quote.
